Hi! I'm Karthik Kasala, a data enthusiast
experienced in Excel, SQL, Python, Salesforce, and Google Analytics.

About Me

Once upon a time, I was a financial auditor for the state of North Carolina, but through automating the generation of some reports for work, I fell into the rabbit hole that is the tech industry.

I took the Data Science track at the Iron Yard campus in Durham, where I learned Python and data science techniques using Python libraries and the Django framework. Most importantly of all, I learned the satisfaction of overcoming failure and breaking through plateaus, which led to a surge in personal and professional growth.

I ended up working at Windsor Circle, a Python-based company in Durham, whose focus is customer retention for primarily B2C clients. Starting as a Support Analyst, I quickly learned that in the fast-paced environment of a startup, the ability to work on concurrent projects while being able to prioritize and accept many different responsibilities is crucial.

Luckily, I was surrounded by passionate, intelligent people that share a 'teams survive longer than individuals' mentality, which helped me gain familiarity with several different tools at once, allowing me to exceed expectations and get promoted. This led me to my latest role as an Operations Analyst, where I worked on contributing through reporting, improving process efficiencies, and resolving client issues.

Now, I'm in Philadelphia looking for either an analyst role, where I can specialize in data analysis and continue to grow as an analytics professional, or a Salesforce administrator position, where I can help an organization implement and improve its Salesforce organization. When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling, watching college/professional football, working on my Cicerone certification, and exploring Philadelphia.
